And last weekend I met Tyler again!! He grew so much from the last time I saw him he felt like a different baby hehe but so adorable~~~

Was pleasantly surprised last morning by ma favorite korean hehe..I was so happy and the contents truly motivated me a greal deal. So thankful..Ji Eun's like my one and only pen pal that I exchange letters with ever since primary school. (Except mom, and yes, we live together but she posts letters to me addressed to our house sometimes heheh) Hand written letters are the most precious, definitely. I read all my past letters/cards once in a while and they're always the best trips down memory lane. 

Everything looks burnt but they weren't exactly burnt okay ｡(*^▽^*)ゞ

And I learnt that day that eating enoki mushrooms with braces was definitely not the way to go.

And….. I am not looking forward to the end of this week because it means the start of exams.

Besides hoping for the papers to be manageable, the need to maintain/improve my GPA stresses my soul out of me.

And the usual me falling sick before the exams' no exception this time. Down-ed lots and lots of water today so I'm sure I'll be fine!!

Woke up to a card mom made for me and I kept crying while reading it..because she's truly my biggest motivation to do well and live happy. She made me who I am today. And I'm so grateful. Thank God for people in my life who bring me love and much laughter amidst the daily mental strains. And Faith who even brought tau huay for us hehe..a friend who brings you food is the best friend indeed.
I just want to live the busy day to day without missing the beautiful things as well because they pass more quickly..and also, not let the ugly get to me. If people have ugly hearts, I shan't let them get any closer. Just know that your sheer ugliness shall no longer affect me because why should it in the first place. And I hope that someone will appear in your life to enlighten you and make you a little wiser than what you are now.

Managed to get this old issue of Frankie at a new found book store that's a fave right now.. Bashier Graphic Books They have a wide array of mags outside and loooooads of fashion design/ interior design/ sketching/ drawing books inside. I was walking past each shelve wide-eyed and I wanted everything:'-( Glad that I have a new place besides Kino to get my bi-monthly Frankie fix.

Huge macaron:-) Wish the liquor taste was a little stronger but the texture's definitely two thumbs up! (Chunky and chewy) And the lamington's better than average as well, desserts make me so happy:-)



Overthinking

 Saveur: Sea Bass // Nicoise Salad // Pistachio Panna Cotta

We also had the mushroom soup and a side dish but the food was really quite meh only for me but Faith liked it a lot I think hahaha I just felt like I could make all these.. except, I really loved the Panna Cotta!!! Best part for me:-)

 Still..there was a queue before it opened and the place was packed within minutes. Will someone explain this rave to me because I don't think I'll even revisit..

Its supposedly french cuisine brought to you affordable and we spent $50. It would definitely feel more worth it if the food was better. 

Yesterday was the most productive I've been in quite a while. Thanks to National Library at the Bugis district. So I'm heading there myself today and I'll probably do the same next week. Damn great place to be focused. Have to get some things done before I head out so bye:-)
