One great weekend

 SPR MRKT
Grilled Chicken Salad // Bulgogi Chicken Wrap
The food was so bad that mom said she felt like we were eating bird food:-( I think she meant dry and tasteless. And I was almost offended by their use of "Bulgogi" on the menu because there are no traces of it in the wrap. Just regular chicken.

DB Bistro Moderne
Yankee Burger // Egg's Benedict

Art Science Museum
-The Deep Exhibition-

I am most awed by this :O
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Art Science Museum
-Prudential Singapore Eye-
Me thinking this art piece looks like a circle of sushi

And my favorite wall at the exhibition:
La Divina Commedia
Yunhee Lee
2014
Ceramic

Another favorite because pictures like these with so many details I can stare at all day. And I bought a post card with its print to do just that:-)
I'm not sure what this is suppose to be but the shadow it casts is just beautiful

Kayaking with my two loves on Sunday:-)

PS. Cafe @ Ann Siang Hill Park
Spicy Shakshuka // PS. Truffle Shoestring Fries // Green Goddess Pesto Penne

A really good cafe in a long while…Initially skeptical and slightly put off at the sight of the slightly high prices but amazing taste and reasonable portion turned the tables round. There are too many truffle fries doppelgängers out there with no taste of truffle but rest assured if you're coming here. My mom and I's favorite Shakshuka tastes heavenly as well I can't wait to bring my family here!!!
With many mediocre cafes sprouting from every corner of Singapore, it's hard to know which are really good until you try them for yourself. Foodies' reviews often don't do much for me. Different taste buds, different expectations.

Squeezed my entire great weekend into a single post haha
Made pancakes this morning to cheer mom on for work. It was so good I'm not bragging HAHA It was everything I looked for in pancakes and no milk used:-) Dense, moist and fluffy on the inside, slightly crispy at the edges. The recipe is amazeballs?!
Now time to workout

Alfredo Fettuccine with Beef Meatballs

I think the past week can be concluded with a lot of food. And I'm not complaining..just doing more workouts than usual! Also because school has been starting at 12 so there's time in the morning. Same will go for tmr! As usual, I can barely stay awake in lectures because school just started this week. Not going to be too hard on myself yet HAHA

Theres so many activities coming up these two weekends and I. AM. SO. STOKED.

This short break:

 Little Guilin
Itchy Back

Jimmy Monkey: Definitely one of the pricier cafes I wouldn't revisit!

Photos: Outing with G5 last weekend/ Things I did on days I stayed home/ Day out with my foodie today
This short two weeks break, I basically caught up on reading materials I bought when I hadn't the time to read (always guilty of this), spent time at my grandpa's house and also time with my busy friends. Oh! And I also became obsessed with putting ice cream on my bread. It's far more delicious than you think...
I was reading National Geog about some amazing place in Canada where people trekked and then fei texted me that night if I wanted to go trekking the next day. Definitely telepathic and spot on. And so we went all the way to Bukit Gombak, only to find out the trail was 0.7km and furthermore, closed. We modified our plans and decided to walk (do a city trek) to Biopolis instead and that was a good 7.7km. Didn't feel that tiring with nonsensical talks/ singing and a lot of snap chatting along the way. We ended up with sun-kissed cheeks and slightly wobbly legs by the end.
Trekking in Nepal or that beautiful place in Canada I saw in the magazine or just somewhere out of Singapore is definitely on my bucket's list.
