With the dearest G5 minus Elayne..Miss you dearly Dearie! Promise we'll do this again because there's so many more cafes to explore around in Singapore. Yes that's probably the most interesting thing to do in Singapore now. It's like we've all gotten tired of shopping in town. And I feel like I'm so thankful for these friends who enjoy food like me. Not just being cliche..but I'm quite sure I'll never find friends like you guys anywhere else. My angels!! Love you all so much!
So we met up at Tiong Bahru for cafe hopping around the area! Ah..nostalgic place where I always pass by getting to and going home from school. Tiong Bahru plaza where we had nasi lemak at Qi Ji several times and the mrt station where we always without fail hugged goodbye. What I loved most about secondary school was hugging goodbye everyday. Its what I miss most now too.
Before I go on reminiscing..First stop was Flock Cafe.
We had the Big Breakfast and to be honest it wasn't quite worth the $19.90 for me. I felt like if I were to buy all these ingredients and prepare this myself, it would still taste good and probably cost less than $10. Except I wouldn't know how to make the eggs benedict oopss..It was however a really nice place and I would go back to try other stuff:)
Second stop was PS. Cafe:)
We had an Apple Crumble muffin and Latte.
Pretty yums! The cafe was so pretty too.. There were tables and chairs but it was a takeaway outlet so even the pizzas (which looked good) were served in the box.
Third stop was Poteato! We had truffle fries and when Abbi remembered how I liked my chill sauce (with black pepper) I was touched to the bones:)
Fourth and final stop at Forty Hands
We had Carrot cake and a Bitter chocolate tart. Abbi was in love with her heavenly tart while I preferred the carrot cake hehe..The chocolate was really perfect..just sweet and bitter enough but I always go for the non chocolatey stuff with desserts. IDK WHY.
And then we toured the little lanes to get our step photos taken hehe Abbi is the step pro and the rest of us were just awk w a r d kekeke..
Failed at being step cuz can't you tell I was trying to control my laughter hahaha..
It was such a good good day with this lovely
And Christmas is really round the corner. Almost done with the presents and I've mailed out the cards too..After this I need to get to wrapping^^
Oh btw..I've postponed the extraction and braces itself because I have a cousin's wedding dinner this saturday and a sista is not going without her front teeth!! So yeah..boo that I will get my braces done 2 weeks later than planned. Everyday I just cannot wait to get my teeth straightened.
And..My christmas nails are so not lasting till christmas. Probably need to get them done again this weekend. So..till the next update!:)
